[COGS] COVID Updates and New Bicycle Rental Program

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I have received an update from Student Affairs regarding COVID policies. While the State of Florida has restricted FSU from issuing any mask mandates, Student Affairs has authorized RSOs to mandate masks for their own events if they chose to do so. RSOs are also encouraged to keep document attendance at events for contact tracing purposes and provide hand sanitizing stations.

As a side note, I was also notified of new Bicycle renting service from FSU. See Below:


“reCycle Bike Distribution day has officially been Set. Distribution will occur on Saturday 8/28 from 8am-12pm in the Grainger Lot.



The complete rental package ($60+tax/semester or $100+tax fall & spring) includes a bicycle, lock, helmet, front and rear lights, basic repairs, safety classes, maintenance workshops, and social rides. Reserve your bike today: https://apps.its.fsu.edu/BikeRental/app



Don’t forget to sign up for a pickup time at the end of the application through the Sign Up genius link. Bikes are only available for pick up on Saturday, 8/28 at the Grainger lot, across from Health & Wellness. Please share this information with your respective communities! “
