Good Afternoon Representatives,

I just received this Invitation to the Welcome Back BBQ. This is not only an invite for attendance, but also a request for us to help with the event as members of Student Government. Unfortunately, I will be out of town, but if you can represent our organization at this event, that would be great.

Additionally, the Fall Involvement Fair will be held on Tuesday August 24th 5pm-9pm. I have signed COGS up for a spot to set up a booth and hand out some of our promotion items and promote our organization. If you have some time to spare, come join us. Deputy Speaker Collins and Collins will be there as well as myself. Please let me know if you will be able to help, even if not for the whole time. The beginning and end would be most helpful setting everything up and breaking it back down. Let me know if you have any questions.

Greetings Florida State University Congress of Graduate Students Speaker and Deputy Speaker for Communication!



I hope all is well! My name is Marcus Williams (he/him) with Florida State University Student Government Association as the Secretary of Inclusion. I am reaching out to exclusively invite you to one of the stapled http://welcome.fsu.edu/ events that FSU SGA is hosting and would love for you to attend, The Welcome Back BBQ!


The Welcome Back BBQ will serve as a casual and joyful community, co-collegiate event welcoming all of our folks back to the city. It will have a summer BBQ vibe as a means for our students to embrace the start of the new semester with each other.


The Welcome Back BBQ will be hosted Sunday, August 29 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. There will be fun, music, games, food, and so much more. Feel free to reply to this email in regards to your attendance and commitment to at least one person helping us out with the event in one of the following positions.


Greeters, game monitors, line keepers for food, or hype person.
