[Coe-grad] Reminder: May 31 Deadlines and Workshop

Good morning, COE Graduate Students.

This email is a friendly but important reminder about two May 31 deadlines and today’s workshop. May 31 is the seventh week deadline for summer B session and the deadline to apply for summer 2019 graduation. Additionally, there is a manuscript clearance workshop for all MS thesis-track student and doctoral students this afternoon. See my previous email for details.

Summer 2019 Graduation Application Period
May 20 - May 31, 2019 – Apply online at https://my.fsu.edu<https://my.fsu.edu/default>.
Please visit http://registrar.fsu.edu/services/graduation/ for more details. (NOTE: You are required to apply for graduation even if you do not intend to attend the Commencement Ceremony). If you cannot access the application, contact the Graduation Office at 850.644.5850 prior to 5:00pm (Eastern US) today.

Summer 2019 - End of prorated 7th week of the semester:
Summer A – June 28
Summer B – May 31
Summer C – July 12

  *   Last day to submit form requesting S/U grading or to change S/U option back to regular grade.
  *   Last day to reduce course load without permission of Academic Dean. Dean’s permission required to drop below minimum hours.
  *   Last day for doctoral students to take and pass their preliminary examination in order to add or convert dissertation hours for the current semester.
  *   Last Day to drop a course without receiving a grade.
  *   Last Day to withdraw from school without receiving a grade.


May 31 Workshop - Do You Have Questions About Formatting or Submitting Your Thesis or Dissertation?
Do you have questions about formatting or submitting your thesis or dissertation? The Graduate School is offering a Manuscript Clearance Workshop for College of Education students on Friday May 31, 2019 in the Stone Bldg. If you cannot attend this workshop, other summer 2019 workshop offerings are listed on The Graduate School website: https://gradschool.fsu.edu/academics-research/thesis-treatise-and-dissertation/manuscript-workshops. Registration is not required. At this time, The Graduate School does not offer online workshops.
