Hello,

Some of us attended a wonderful CAPCSD webinar last night called, *When
Students Encounter Patient Bigotry: Supervisors' and Preceptors' Duty of
Care.* Based on that webinar, we are looking into anti-discrimination
policies that reflect that patients shall not discriminate or otherwise
exhibit bigotry toward students in any way. We hope this will help to
support our students who come from marginalized communities and may need us
to follow through on our duty of care, The research indicates that many
students face bigotry from patients during their education, and supervisors
(and students) often don't know how to respond.

Do you have any written anti-discrimination policies to which patients must
adhere? If you do, would you be willing to share what you have for us to
consider and hopefully adapt for our clinic?

Thank you so much!

Best regards,

Sena
