Subject: Environmental Conference Scholarship Opportunity for Students

Hi. I'm Jim Noles; I'm a professor at Auburn University. I'm also on the Executive Committee of the Alabama Bar Association's Environmental Law section.

Our section's annual meeting/conference will occur at Orange Beach, Alabama, on June 12, 2026, and one of our recent initiatives is to offer free attendance (and two nights lodging) at the conference to law students and would-be law students interested in practicing environmental law in Alabama after graduating.

Personally, I think these scholarships have provided students with a great opportunity to get a deep dive into some current environmental issues, mix it up with practitioners from both sides of the aisle, and do some quality networking (at the beach!).

Therefore, if you think any of your students might be interested in this opportunity (and can beat the rapidly approaching April 15 deadline!), please feel free to forward this email and its attachments along to whomever. Thanks!

Sincerely,
Jim Noles
