The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is coming to FSU for our On Campus Interview (OCI) Program.  They are looking for students interested in serving as a paid intern who will participate in the Office of General Counsel’s (OGC) diverse practice areas, such as administrative, appellate, environmental, land use, legislative, litigation, finance, and real estate law.  Each intern will have an opportunity to explore the FL DEP’s practice areas under the supervision of knowledgeable, experienced attorneys.

Fall semester paid internship positions will begin in October 2020, will last for 8 weeks, and will not exceed 20 hours per week. The start date for interns will be flexible depending on the commitments and schedule of the intern and OGC. Internship hours must be conducted during the Department’s normal business hours. The Assistant General Counsel and the intern coordinator will schedule bi-weekly meetings with the interns to review the status of work assignments as well as answer questions and provide guidance.
