Federal/State Compliance Posters – Action Required

The Office of Equal Opportunity and Compliance will be conducting its annual compliance poster audit April 1 – April 30, 2019. Please take this opportunity to review all compliance poster locations to make sure they are up-to-date.

The posters should be located in a conspicuous location that is accessible to all employees. An ideal location would be the building’s lobby or a central corridor. Multiple posting locations within a building are only needed if the site is not accessible to all employees within the building. Please coordinate with the other Department Representatives in your building to determine where each department has its compliance posters or to decide if a central location will be shared. Up-to-date compliance posters can be found on the Human Resources website<http://hr.fsu.edu/?page=forms/forms&category=EMP&class=DEO>. Click on “Compliance Postings” to select posters and print.

Additionally, the University has released an updated Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Statement<http://www.hr.fsu.edu/PDF/Publications/diversity/EEO_Statement.pdf> (EO Statement) and a new EEO & Affirmative Action Provisions Notice<http://www.hr.fsu.edu/pdf/publications/elro/eeo_policy_statement.pdf> (Provisions Notice). We ask that you replace the old EO Statement with the updated version and post the new Provisions Notice, as it is now a newly required compliance posting. All websites and publications that reference the protected groups must be updated to ensure that proper and inclusive language is being replicated.
