[Fla-facrlboard] New web site

Good afternoon,

Maybe this will be a good project for the new communications officer to tackle? We should be able to automate it or set up period downloads from ACRL. Please let me know if I can do anything to assist on my end.

Sorry to have not chimed in sooner -- I'm pretty wrapped up in some other things at the moment.

The Board determined that the non ALA/ACRL membership would be on a calendar year.  There should never be case where the ALA/ACRL membership lapses.  The list we get annually from ACRL should be the mechanism by which that membership category is updated.

I was able to fix the logo problem – the other problem is trickier.  On the admin side of the site it says 38 people have lapsed memberships. So far each of you that has reported the message is on that list but with a “renewal due” date of “never”. Other lapsed memberships have a renewal date that has passed so I think that’s the issue.  I can go through and change the status to active and add an expiration date but I don’t know what date to use for each person.

Who has the latest list of members?

This site is definitely more user friendly.

When I logged in, it said my account is lapsed. I’m current with ACRL and my renewal is in June 2017. Also the logo wasn’t displaying correctly. I am attaching a screenshot.

The content from the old web site has been transferred over to Wild Apricot. I also added some minutes from the past year and 2 events to promote our FLA activities.
