Colleagues,

The Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor has two exciting employment opportunities in the areas of Research and Analytics and the Florida Student Success Center. We encourage you to share the attached job descriptions with colleagues who may be interested in a Tallahassee-based position. A summary of key position responsibilities is provided below.

Director of the Florida Student Success Center

  *   Collaborates with other staff in the division and the department to carry out the duties of the position described below and improve student learning and outcomes in Florida;
  *   Provides overall leadership and management of the center;
  *   Sustains/expands buy-in from the colleges for an overarching student success agenda;
  *   Fosters an ongoing student success-focused policy agenda for the State of Florida and the 28 colleges and supports the center's impact;
  *   Leverages the state data system to meet the data needs of the colleges and builds research partnerships with the universities and other partners in the state;
  *   Oversee the implementation of high-quality convenings such as regional faculty conversations, and other emerging professional development opportunities;
  *   Directs the numerous initiatives managed by the center and ensures timely grant reporting to the respective funders; and
  *   Participates in relevant national convenings and networks as appropriate.
Director of Research and Analytics

  *   Leads in the production and annual updating of evaluation reports, program reviews and research reports, including, but not limited to data snapshots, research briefs and reports using software including Excel and Word.
  *   Leads in accountability processes, including data collection.
  *   Reviews external education reports for information on current topics of interest.
  *   Coordinates and helps with project development including strategic imperative projects.
  *   Leads the data request process through the PK-20 Education Reporting and Accessibility department and organizes the storage and tracking of fulfilled requests.
  *   Performs other specifically assigned duties and special projects.
  *   Maintains and improves personal effectiveness by delivering quality and timely products and services; adapting to changing priorities, demands and expectations; and acquiring and applying new skills and knowledge.
The first review of cover letters/CVs will be January 2, 2023. After that, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the positions are filled.
