[COGS] Opportunity for Summer COGS

Today, Dr. Hecht signed off on a Senate bill that will allow for COGS Reps to serve during the summer, even if they are not taking classes, under certain circumstances:

  *   You took at least 6 credit hours this past Spring,
  *   You are going to take at least 6 credit hours this upcoming Fall, and
  *   You receive permission from Andy Johnson (one of our advisors) and Stormy McGivern (the Director of Student Organizations and Involvement).

Andy has let me know that a Google Form will be provided soon for anyone interested to apply for this permission. It shouldn’t be a long form at all!

If you are interested in continuing to serve in COGS this summer, but are not taking classes, please stay on the lookout for a follow up email with the form! We will be meeting by Zoom this summer, so you can still serve even if you will be out of Tallahassee.

We are really excited by this change and are looking forward to having some more of y’all join us this summer!
