[COGS] Fall Elections for COGS

[COGS Deputy Speaker for Communication]

Dear Representatives,

Thank you for your patience as we go through officer transitions, and I apologize for the late notice of this information. If you are newer to COGS or petitioned in over the past year, you may not be aware of the election process.

In order for COGS members to retain their seats you will need to submit a SGA candidacy declaration form found here http://fla.st/vote in order to run in the SGA election for your COGS seat. The deadline to resubmit your candidacy for COGS seats will be on September 29th at 4pm. This is an online form and does not take long to fill out. Make sure that you select the seat that you currently hold when filling out the form. If you are not sure which seat that is, you can view that information here: https://sga.fsu.edu/cogs-representatives.shtml

There will be a campaign contribution statement form that you will need to submit later on in October, and I will send more information to you about that as I get it. Attached is the Fall Election Calendar with relevant dates. Please be aware that the candidacy deadline on the calendar is wrong and that the deadline is September 29th.
