Hi SGA Leaders!

I hope your week is off to a great start! We have few updates that we wanted to share with you:

  1.  Leadership Awards Night nominations are now open! Be sure to nominate your peers, faculty, or staff members that you would like to recognize here: https://leadershipawards.fsu.edu/. Nominations are due by Monday, February 28th.

  1.  Nominate your peers for the Global Citizen Award! The award honors outstanding students who have actively engaged in intercultural initiatives on campus or abroad and who have exemplified leadership in promoting and supporting a global community among Florida State University students. Submit nominations here https://fsu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1XLZmMTuoBbsSt8 by Friday, February 25th.

  1.  Our Student Governance & Advocacy team has a new staff member; Maranda Hawkins started with our team on Friday, February 11th as our Media Specialist. She directly supervises and advises the Student Publications (Student Pubs) team along with coordinating our department’s media & marketing initiatives. If you are in Thagard and have some free time, stop by and introduce yourself to her in Thagard 451! 😊

  1.  Sign up to attend the President’s Symposium next Friday, February 25th 11AM - 12:30 PM (See attached flyer)!
