[COGS] FSU Football Game Seating

Good Morning Representatives,

It came to my attention that at the football game last weekend there were some deplorable and disgusting actions by individuals such as the use of hurtful slurs towards some of our fellow FSU students and organizations. Some believe that this was a result of offering “block seating” to individual groups. For example, reserving a whole section for an FSU organization. This allows people to sit comfortably amongst their peers, but many students are calling for it to be removed because of the actions that took place last weekend.

Student Affairs has asked for any graduate student feedback on the matter. I know personally the College of Medicine loved the block seating, but I also understand they didn’t have the same experience that others did. If you have any experiences at the game (good or bad) or opinions on the matter, please let me know so that I can relay them to Student Affairs.
