Please join us as Katie Kehoe, Sculpture in the Expanded Field Candidate, presents on their work and teaching. Thursday, March 30, 5:15pm in FAB249.

Katie Kehoe<https://main.katiekehoe.com/> is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores themes that range from the impacts of climate change and excessive waste production, to public engagement and site-specificity. Kehoe works predominantly in socially engaged performance and site-specific installation, often incorporating photography, video, and sculpted objects as defining artistic elements to explore themes that relate to the impacts of climate change and excessive waste production.

WEFT: Women Empowering Fiber Traditions
The Council on Culture & Arts invites you to experience WEFT // Women Empowering Fiber Traditions. WEFT is an all women fiber art exhibition, featuring 20 artists throughout the region and guest curated by Tenee’ Hart.
On Thursday, March 30th, COCA will be hosting the Closing Reception for WEFT at City Hall from 6-8pm. Enjoy light refreshments and view the show after-hours in City Hall before it closes.

Thursday, April 6, The F.A.B. Gallery's Inaugural Exhibition, Resting Proximity, 5-7pm

The Department of Art invites you to the inaugural exhibition of The F.A.B. Gallery on Thursday, April 6 from 5-7 p.m. in Room 236 of the Fine Arts Building, which features a group exhibition of graduating BFA students’ work, curated by Chloe Sailor with support from Visiting Assistant Professor, Katie Kehoe. Chloe Sailor is a current MFA student and one of the recipients of the Department of Art/Museum of Fine Arts (MoFA) Graduate Assistant Awards. Resting Proximity features work created by the graduating BFA students that is not part of their thesis show yet stands out from other bodies of work they created during their time at FSU.
