[Art-instructors] LUNCH!!! @ the Teaching Orientation

Hi all,

I apologize for the quick turn-around on this, but please follow this link to make a lunch selection for the teaching orientation on Tuesday, August 16th. These selections are individual box lunches from Taziki’s, so everyone must make a selection in order to get lunch. We are asking that you do this within the next 36 hours (give or take) so that we have time to submit the order to the restaurant.

The options are:

Salads: includes a cookie

•      Greek

•      Greek with grilled chicken

•      Taziki’s Signature Pasta:  (no side included)

•      Mediterranean Salad

•      Mediterranean Salad with grilled chicken

Boxed lunch: includes chips, your choice of a side & a cookie

•      chicken gyro

•      veggie gyro

•      spicy pimento cheese sandwich

•      Beef Gyro
Sides: choose 1

•      Fresh cut fruit

•      Pasta salad

•      Basmati rice

•      Roasted new potatoes

•      Tomato-cucumber salad

Feasts: includes a Greek salad, your choice of a side, & a cookie

•      Grilled Chicken Breast

•      Grilled Beef

•      Chicken Kebobs

Breakfast will be bagels & cream cheese (with vegan alternative) and a gluten free option. Caffeinated coffee will be served and I will bring a coffee pot, decaf, electric tea kettle and tea selections for those who prefer.

Happy August! As we start gearing up for the semester, I want to remind you that the teaching orientation is right around the corner, August 16th from 9 am - 3:00 pm or so. We are still working on some scheduling details, so those times are approximate. We will send a detailed schedule closer to the date. In the meantime, we need your help with some food planning.

We typically serve a very light breakfast and lunch. Before Allison and I weigh our budget against our vendors & ordering options, we would like to find out any dietary restrictions you may have.

  *   Breakfast is often glutenous (bagels/cream cheese & alternative), but we can find another non-glutenous option for those who have allergies. Just let us know!
  *   Additionally, last year we were a bit tight on food, so I want to be sure that everyone who is coming RSVPs for the orientation. I don’t want anyone missing their noontime meal!


Can you please take this quick poll as soon as possible. Decisions about where to order will be made this week and what to order, specifically, next week. We cannot accommodate your diet if we don’t know. Here is the link:
