[Art-instructors] Feedback from Deans and Chairs Meeting - COVID-19

Hi Stephanie,
Thank you for the updates, it is much appreciated. I feel that it is essential to keep the labs open and available for student use unless it becomes impossible to do so. I would like to ask another question regarding these work spaces and the OPS employees who manage and maintain them: what plan does the College or FSU have in place regarding paid leave for us in the event of closed lab spaces?

Thanks again,

Amy Fleming

Hi Everyone,

Updated changes:

Please provide plans for teaching all of your classes online after the Spring break in the event that the University asks students to leave campus at some point or some to self-isolate.

A brief outline of how you will:

· deliver online

· what software you will use (YouTube, ZOOM, CANVAS and KULTURA etc)

· how the students will be able to achieve the learning outcomes.

Please note that students may require materials to complete assignments at home. The university sent out guidance late yesterday to students to take their academic materials home in case they need to self-isolate or we need to move everything online.

I will continue to give updates as they come in. I’m meeting with the university Covid 19: Fine & Performing Arts Workgroup this Friday and again on Monday to plan for the rest of the semester; particularly for our department I will be working to keep our workshops and labs open and the degree shows on track.

Thanks for your patience.

Stephanie

  1. Two lists of classes: one you intend to transition to online AND the other you will continue face-to-face. Indicate which classes require lab access.
