Dear FSU Environmental Law Certificate Students,

Happy to share about the Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law<https://www.fnrel.org/>'s Student Program which aims to generate interest in mineral law and related areas, increase students' awareness, and encourage student involvement in The Foundation's educational programs.

Several programs are coming up that the Foundation can provide complimentary registration and travel support (lodging and transportation). These events cover a wide range of subject areas, and are attended by attorneys from around the country. They are a great networking and learning opportunity. Eligible programs would include the following:

  1. Commercial Renewable Energy Project Development<https://www.fnrel.org/programs/re22/overview> - October 27-29, 2022, in Westminster, CO
  2. Water Law Institute<https://www.fnrel.org/programs/wl22/overview> - November 4-5, 2022, in San Diego, CA
  3. Oil and Gas Agreements: Purchase and Sale Agreements<https://www.fnrel.org/programs/psa23/overview> - January 19-20, 2023 in Houston, TX
  4. 69th Annual Natural Resources and Energy Law Institute<https://www.fnrel.org/programs/ai69/overview> - July 20-22, 2023 in Salt Lake City, UT

To apply for travel funding, please read and complete the application found here: https://tinyurl.com/mu4x82fk. The application requires that the FSU trustee, Professor Shi-Ling Hsu, to "endorse" your travel, so please copy your application and email it to Professor Hsu (shsu at law.fsu.edu<mailto:shsu at law.fsu.edu>). The sooner you apply the better your chances of receiving funding.

Should you have questions, please feel free to email us or drop by A227. You may also visit the Foundation's website (https://www.fnrel.org/) to learn more about them!

Good day,

Jella Roxas
