Dear FSU Environmental Law Certificate Students,

The Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide<https://www.elaw.org/> (ELAW) is a network of public interest environmental lawyers and scientists who use the law to protect the environment and human rights. ELAW U.S. provides legal and scientific resources to grassroots advocates in approximately 80 countries. Legal interns assist the Staff Attorneys in responding to requests for assistance. These requests generate both short and long-term assignments on a wide range of legal topics, including climate change, plastic pollution, natural resource extraction and marine protection. Interns typically conduct legal research (US and international law), assist with writing briefs or other legal analyses, and help identify model laws and regulations.


ELAW is now recruiting an Environmental Law Intern - Summer 2022<https://elaw.org/summer-2022-environmental-law-internship> for Eugene, OR or remote (depending on preference).  The internship is full-time for approximately 10 weeks starting mid- to late May. ELAW U.S. encourages successful applicants to secure funding from scholarships or their law schools, but such funding is not a factor in selecting interns.
