PCORI seeks to fund high quality, patient-centered CER to improve the mental and behavioral health outcomes of individuals living with ADRD and their care partners. PCORI is interested in studies that compare behavioral, pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions to manage mental or behavioral symptoms of ADRD. These interventions are required to be efficacious or in widespread use and may include comparisons of care coordination approaches or other models of care delivery for individuals living with mental or behavioral health symptoms of ADRD. Of particular interest are large, multi-site, randomized studies of interventions in various settings such as community-based settings, long-term care facilities or other healthcare settings.
