Tallahassee elder-law attorney Lauchlin Waldoch to speak on "Incapacity Planning" today at 12:00pm.
Lauchlin Waldoch, Esq., of Waldoch & McConnaughhay, P.A., will talk on "Incapacity Planning: Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives and Trusts" via Zoom online at noon on March 15.

Co-founder of the Tallahassee firm of Waldoch & McConnaughhay, P.A., Waldoch devotes her time exclusively to elder law and related issues. Her practice includes wills, trusts, probate, and incapacity planning, including powers of attorney, advance directives for health care such as living wills and health care surrogate designations.
A substantial part of her practice also involves understanding public benefits, particularly as related to long term care such as Veterans Benefits, Medicaid and Managed Care. Lauchlin helps families who care for those with special needs, using special needs trusts, protective trusts and other planning vehicles.
Lauchlin is certified by the Florida Bar in Elder Law and designated a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation.
As co-founder and former chair of the Public Policy Task Force of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and Chair of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar, she works with legislative and regulatory issues affecting seniors and persons with disabilities. Lauchlin received Member of the Year in 1999 and 2005 for the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar and for AFELA in 2001 and 2005. She is also active in numerous national, state and community organizations related to the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
