[HRMS] E&G Salary and Wage Limit Increase

An important message from FSU Office of Human Resources

This message has been approved by Shelley Lopez, Program Director, Communications/Special Projects, for distribution to all Department Representatives.
This spring, legislation passed increasing the limit on E&G salaries and wages from $200,000 to $250,000 annually (pending the approval of congruent BOG regulation changes). In anticipation of the pending salary increases<https://hr.fsu.edu/article/2023-2024-faculty-staff-unit-out-unit-salary-adjustments>, please review all employees subject to the statutory E&G salary limit to determine if related adjustments should be made to their appointment so that their E&G funding does not exceed $250,000.

If adjustments are required, enter an ePAF with an effective date of August 18, 2023, no later than August 14, 2023, to adjust their funding accordingly. Failure to adjust their appointment in a timely manner may necessitate an eRDF at a later date.
