Changes are coming to the Human Subjects Office.

Unfortunately, Stacy Carey, the Director of the Office of Human Subjects, will be leaving in the coming days.  We are sad to see her go and wish her the best.  Hers will be big shoes to fill and we have already begun the process of accomplishing that.  In the interim, Dr. Eric Holmes, Assistant VP for Research, will serve as the Interim Director.

Until a permanent Director has been hired, we will supplement Human Subjects Office staff with consultants knowledgeable in Human Subjects research and IRB matters.  Our goal is to transition as quickly as possible and do not expect significant changes in service to researchers.  Additionally, the transition to the RAMP online IRB submission module will continue as scheduled.  During this time, we ask for your indulgence and commitment to working together with the Human Subjects Office staff.
