Hi Cristy,

I am following up on your submission. Thank you for sending it and for your patience.

I am sure you have noticed that the newsletter has not been published. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, we had to pivot. We received very few submissions and I felt like publishing a newsletter without acknowledging  our current environment would seem insensitive.

I reached out to the Chapters Council asking for feedback on how to proceed and we decided to follow these two suggestions:


  1.  Postpone our Spring edition and communicate an extension of the deadline with a call for information on remote activities. This would include the current 2 submissions and be released late July or August
  2.  Devote our Fall 2020 edition to COVID 19 responses

Chapters Council will be meeting on June 29 and I will be bringing more concrete information to them.

After the meeting, we will move forward with publishing the newsletter following another call.

I hope that this delay does not adversely impact you.
