Hi Kim and all,
I agree with Becky’s suggestions. I just don’t know what the one image in the center would be (my brain has gone to mush this week). A book would work or how about something like this [Image result for graduation cap books]

Hi Kim,

This is basically very nice—Enlarging the logo is important, I agree.  Also, changing dark teal to orange would go with our logo, and punch up the contrast (I’m not a graphic designer but I know what I like, ha).

Hard to know what one image in lieu of the palm tree would impart “academic library.”  Nothing wrong with books, of course—it IS the library’s brand—but I and I hope others will mull it over.  Our Logo palm tree is certainly an option, as is the portrait of a reader on our brochure.  If Claire Dygert isn’t on this list, I would suggest contacting her to ask about the logo files.

I submitted a request via Fivrr for a graphic designer to mock up a design for the FACRL banner. I have attached the first draft provided by the designer. We have a limited number of revisions and a limited window of time to request revisions, so I hope to gather initial feedback and submit a consolidated list of revisions as soon as possible.

A list of requested revisions that didn't meet the original specifications are below:

1.       Enlarge the logo at the top of the banner

2. 3.       Consider replacing the dark teal elements with orange to reflect the logo design.

4.       Replace the palm tree in the center diamond with ................

5.       Consider enlarging the small descriptor placed under the logo reads as follows: "The Florida state chapter of the Association for College & Research Libraries, a division of the American Library Association."
Any ideas for the center of the diamond? I don't have any photos to suggest, but had originally suggested using the Palm tree element of the logo as a start and placeholder. My guess is that the logo is not of high enough quality. Do we have a eps or vector file of the original logo or perhaps access to a photo that would be representative of FACRL/ACRL?
