On behalf of the Alabama Association of College and Research Libraries (AACRL), I am excited to invite you to register for the 2026 AACRL Virtual Unconference!

An unconference is a participant-driven, informal gathering designed to foster peer-to-peer learning, collaboration, and creativity. Instead of passive lectures or formal slide presentations, we gather to ask questions, share our own institutional practices, and engage in open discussions on the trending topics affecting academic libraries today.
Whether you want to dive into AI literacy, share strategies for student library clubs, or discuss workload and professional development, this event is shaped entirely by your current interests and needs.

Because this event is built around collaborative dialogue, we are also looking for friendly faces to help facilitate our small-group breakout sessions. Facilitating requires no advanced slide preparation-just a willingness to drop a kickoff question and keep the conversation flowing. You can indicate your interest directly on the registration form!
