Florida Southern College Roux Library is currently seeking a Resource Sharing Librarian to join our team.
About this position
The Resource Sharing Librarian is a non-tenure track position with faculty status responsible for facilitating patron access to material not owned by the College through interlibrary loan (ILL) services and document delivery. The Resource Sharing Librarian participates in the instructional mission of the library through reference assistance and library instruction, and in the daily operation of circulation services. Librarians hold faculty rank and may be expected to teach on occasion. Librarians are eligible for vacation, holiday, and sick benefits as detailed in the Employee Handbook for 12-month full-time, employees.

Education, Work Experience, and Requirements
* ALA-accredited MLS degree.
* Proficiency in the use of OCLC's WorldShare.
* Working knowledge of print and electronic reference resources.
* Proficiency with online database searching.
* Knowledge of copyright and electronic licensing issues related to interlibrary loan.
* Familiarity with integrated library systems, including library automation issues and procedures.
* Interest in personal and professional development.
* Ability to meet the public in a pleasant and helpful manner.
* Ability to organize work and time.
* Ability to work closely with library colleagues and faculty.
* Ability to work independently and with others on library projects.
* Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and verbal and written skills.
* Proficiency with personal computing applications.
