Call for Nominations to the
FACRL Board

The FACRL Board is seeking nominations from the membership for five
positions that will become available in 2022:

   - President-Elect (Term: 2022-2025)
      - 3 year term includes president-elect, president, and past-president
      service
   - Secretary (Term: 2022-2024)
      - 2 year term
   - Board Members at Large - 3 vacancies (Term: 2022– 2024)
      - 2 year term

specific descriptions of the expectations and responsibilities associated
with the available Board positions. All terms begin and end at the
adjournment of the annual Florida Library Association annual conference in
May.

*Membership Requirements:* Nominees for the office of President-elect must
maintain active ACRL member status. Members of ACRL are automatically
members of FACRL. All other nominees are encouraged to possess ACRL
membership, but must, at the minimum, maintain active FACRL membership
status. Individuals who are not members of ACRL may join FACRL

$30 per year.

*General Service Expectations:* Monthly meetings of the Board are conducted
virtually.  In addition, in typical years there are two in-person meetings,
one held during the fall at the FACRL annual conference and the other in
the Spring during the FLA annual conference. In addition, the Board may
convene as needed to address urgent issues and Board representation at
meetings of various FACRL subcommittees may also be required.
