[FCLCA] Florida Association for Student Success Conference

Want to know what is happening in Tallahassee and around the state? There are big changes coming. Join us at the Florida Association for Student Success conference, which is the Florida affiliate of the National Organization for Student Success, in Sarasota, FL  from Oct. 19 to 20, 2023. The conference theme is "All in for Student Success".  The state speakers are Mike Sfiropoulos, Director of Academic Affairs of Florida Colleges with a DOE update and Kiaira McCoy, Director of the Florida Student Success Center with a Florida Pathways review. Dr. Jeremy Caplan, from New York is the keynote speaker,  presenting "The Craft of Creative Pedagogy: Teaching Effectively and Enjoyably." Dr. Kaplan will facilitate a workshop following his keynote presentation. There will also be other national experts presenting on self-regulated learning, study skills and educational research and graduate studies. Some of the other presentations will be on AI, library engagement, leadership; concluding with a Board member lead round table on current topics and networking.  Please see the attachment for a preview of some of the presentations. Additional presentations are being added, and the call for proposals is still open. The total Conference Agenda will be posted shortly.
The conference fee is $75 for two days, $50 for Thursday and $25 for Friday.
