To Mike & Ed: Congratulations guys. It’s always good to know when my ex-graduate students get recognized for their expertise. Now, remember, don’t let up on the pedal. Once you’ve been awarded for excellence in your work, further awards are obtainable. And when your career is over, you will recognize that, in far 2nd place to your wife and kids, will be the reminders that you were a special person in your career. That is about all you can ask for in life, beyond the thrill of life itself.
Your ex-Serpentine Custodian & Major Professor, Eric
