[COGS] Reminder: COGS Fall 2024 Election Process

Dear Representatives,

We haven't heard back from SGA Elections on if the deadline will be extended, so if you are able, please make sure that you are following the current deadlines listed. I know that some of you are running into error notificiations about GPA stuff, so please let Jack and Kyanna know so they can work on a list to manually add you to the ballot.

I've attached a guide and FAQ about the SGA Election process for Election Day on October 16th. Please remember that if you are currently a COGS member and you want to stay in your current seat after November, you MUST follow this process!

Please make sure that you run for your current seat unless I have previously talked with you about this. Make sure that you fill out this form by September 27th at 4pm.

On October 18th, you must email SGA Elections<mailto:SGAElect at admin.fsu.edu> (SGAElect at admin.fsu.edu<mailto:SGAElect at admin.fsu.edu>) a signed campaign expense letter saying that you have/have not received any campaign donations, and that you did/did not spend any money for your campaign. An example might look like:

Dear SGA Elections,

      I am writing to declare that I have not received any campaign donations nor made any campaign expenditures for *your seat name/number* within the Congress of Graduate Students. Kindly advise if I should provide further documentation to support this matter.
