Happy Monday everyone,
Hope everyone had a great weekend (FSU football, notwithstanding...)! We still need two (2) representatives to volunteer for the Tech Fee Committee. The Committee is a great way to learn about the different projects going on across the university and to advocate for your college's projects. Last year, the Colleges of Music, Ed, Medicine, and Arts & Sciences were some of our largest recipients of Tech Fee project funds, so those of you from those colleges might get strong benefits out of participating. I especially recommend it to some of our newer representatives as a great way to get involved early and help improve campus!
The time commitment is:
* Attending an intro meeting (approx. 1 hour),
* Reviewing proposals (approx. 10-15 hours, self-paced and spread over a month and a half), and
* Attending a final review meeting to agree to final funding (30min - 1hr).
We really need to have our appointees set this week, so please email me (SGA-COGSSpeaker at fsu.edu<mailto:SGA-COGSSpeaker at fsu.edu>) by Wednesday at 5 P.M. to let me know your interest. If we don't have two people volunteer, Exec may have to choose people to ensure that grad students are represented.
Thanks y'all and have a great committee week,
Jack Rowan
