[COGS] Veto of Stronger Future Amendment

Good evening everyone,

It is with deep sadness and disappointment that I write to you all tonight to inform you that Constitutional Amendment #1, the Stronger Future Amendment, an amendment that would have given graduate students a fair chance to be heard, has been vetoed by the Student Body President. I intend to provide a more detailed statement in the coming days. For now, I simply say that I hope the agreed path forward is kept to by all parties and that this is simply a speed bump, rather than an end. The fight will not end until graduate students have the same right to be heard and to be listened to as our undergraduate brothers and sisters.
