[COGS] February 7th / Re: COGS TO-DO

Good morning!

You all should have received an email from me regarding Monday's upcoming assembly meeting. Please attend to the following items before the meeting:


  1.  Before Monday February 7th, please join our Slack page. You do not need to download the app to do this - you can also join right from your Desktop or laptop to remain up to date on COGS announcements.   2.  Before Monday February 7th, please complete your financial certification quiz. This is required of every member and must be updated annually. So, if you've completed this in the past for another organization, you may need to renew your certification. Please email me if you are unsure if you have met this requirement - only financially certified members may vote on funding or transfer proposals during assembly meetings.   3.  Before Monday February 7th, please fill out your profile information so we have updated contact information, and general information that allows members to get to know each other.   4.  At your earliest convenience, please submit a headshot and short bio (70-100 words) to my email at sga-cogs-communication at fsu.edu. This will allow us to put faces to the 30th COGS for our social media platforms and newsletter.
  5.  Before Monday February 7th, download iClicker.********

Below, you will find a link instructing you on how to sign up for iClicker accounts. Please download the iClicker Student app on your phones and sign up with your student email at FSU. After signing up for an account, log in through the app and add the course by searching 'SGA – Congress of Graduate Students'. It should say that Jacalyn Butts is the owner of the course.

Once you have downloaded the app (on phone or desktop) and joined the course, you will need to log into iClicker on a web browser (NOT THE APP) and redeem this access code: FBAB024AD46C to use iClicker tool until end of July, 2022.

This is how we will be voting, so please make sure you download the app before you come to COGS Assembly on 2/7. Please note that this app will be needed for both those joining online and in person.

Please make sure you continue to check these items off your to-do list before attending assembly meetings. Kindly advise if you have any questions regarding these items prior to our meeting. I hold office hours on Tuesdays from 1-3pm and Thursdays from 1-4pm.
