Hello COGS Representatives!

Welcome to a new academic year! As summer comes to an end & fall classes begin to start, I wanted to send out a few reminders:


  1.  Please make sure you review the Financial Manual HERE<https://sga.fsu.edu/financial/sga_financial_manual_20_21.pdf> & take the Financial Certification Exam HERE<https://fsu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5vQLK6V4KgXJiMR>. You must pass with at least an 80% score to be able to vote on financial matters during COGS meetings.
  2.  Review the COGS Website<https://sga.fsu.edu/cogs.shtml> & save the COGS Meeting Dates for this fall to your calendar. Please also save the COGS Representative Training date for Monday, September 14th at 6:30 PM-7:30 PM. I will send the zoom links and meeting agendas closer to the meeting dates.
  3.  Additionally, please review the COGS Guidebook, HERE<https://issuu.com/sgastudentpublications/docs/cogsguidebook_2019> before our next meeting. We are working to finish up the updates to this year's guidebook. However, the material and content is still the same & very relevant and will prepare you all for our training on September 14th.
  4.  Please make sure you are reading the emails sent from this COGS listserv in full & communicating with your committees this fall as we work to revamp and build some things this school year. Also, follow COGS on social media; on Facebook at The Congress of Graduate Students (FSUCOGS)<https://www.facebook.com/FSUCOGS/> & on Instagram at @COGSFSU<https://www.instagram.com/cogsfsu/>.
  5.  If you took a leave of absence this summer, you have automatically been reinstated for this fall which will require no further action. However, please let us know if you will not be able to be a representative this fall.
