Hey guys, this email was sent to the listserv by accident when it was just meant for new representatives, so the dates are not accurate. Hopefully everyone applied for the declaration of candidacy in time (October 2), and if not you will have to re-petition into the assembly. You can do that at our meeting October 21, otherwise you will not be an active member after October 17 until you complete either process.

Sorry it took my awhile to send that follow up information, I was trying to find a digital copy of the guidebook I went through with you guys.

Recap of some information from the meeting:

Make sure you take the financial certification quiz (http://sga.fsu.edu/cogs-funding.shtml on the left had side is a link to the quiz and the manual). Please make sure this is complete by today as well, so you can receive your score. Once you receive your score, if you could forward me the email that you are financially certified, you will be able to vote at the next meeting Monday.

We will be making a new guidebook soon, and will give hard copies to all the representatives when it is complete. This guidebook is missing information on our attendance policies, so I attached some slides that have all the information you could need, so please look over it!

Hello new COGS Representatives,

It was wonderful meeting you all last night! As we talked about last night, I would like to set up a training with you guys to introduce you to COGS procedures and activities.

We had decided last night that we would have our meeting Friday, September 27 from 12-1pm. If that no longer works, please let me know ASAP. We will meet on the Fourth floor of Thagard, which is the building for SGA. The address is 109 Collegiate Loop, Tallahassee, FL 32304.

We will go over COGS rules, procedures, and meetings. I will also help you with becoming Financially Certified. However, if you would like to complete this process  before our training that is also welcome. If you go to this link: http://sga.fsu.edu/cogs-funding.shtml and click on the link on the left that says Financial Certification you can complete the quiz. Under RSO name you can put Congress of Graduate Students. There is also a link for the Financial Manual right above the link for the Financial Certification Quiz. Please read through this as it will have all the answers to the quiz. You must complete this before the next COGS meeting.
