The Department of Art is pleased to invite you to the final artist talk of the 2025-26 Visiting Artists & Scholars Series! Please join us this Thursday for an artist talk with Julia Bland.

Visiting Artist Talk with Julia Bland
Thursday, March 26, 6pm
Fine Arts Building (FAB), Room 249
530 W. Call Street

Julia Bland uses experimental processes to incorporate painting and weaving into sculptural tapestries. Her intricate geometric abstractions are tactile works that bring architectural, natural and spiritual elements together, binding disparate elements into a whole.

The series is free and open to the public, and provides all attendees with the opportunity to engage and build connections with these talented and innovative artists
