The WJB Gallery is proud to present our latest exhibition, “Art and Ecology: The Backwater Paintings,” a selection of work from the Department of Art’s 2D Foundation Courses in conversation with paintings by South Florida-based artist and educator Jim Graham.

Graham worked with Associate Professor and Foundations Director Anne Stagg to develop projects using hard-edge abstraction and silverpoint drawing to discuss topics related to climate and temporal change. Also on display is the “Backwater Painting” series, a selection of Jim Graham’s work depicting sites along South Florida’s Water Management Districts.

This exhibition will be on display from Thursday, February 26th, through Thursday, March 12th.

There will be a closing reception on March 12th from 2 to 4 pm at the WJB Gallery.
