Please also remember to have compassion and empathy for your students after the storm. Many may be facing this weather event alone or without the support of family for the first time, and some may have loved ones in areas deeply impacted by the storm. This can lead to heightened anxiety and challenges in both participating and returning to class. If you have any questions about how to negotiate the return to classes, especially for students dealing with these challenges, please don’t hesitate to reach out after the storm has passed.
