Please forward this email to all Fall 2023 instructional faculty and staff.



Grade rosters for the Fall 2023 Regular, IF0-IF3, LAW, and NAP sessions are now open. For now, please continue to visit the myFSU Student Central help website for how-to topics related to grade rosters: http://www.sc.my.fsu.edu/faculty/how/use-grade-rosters-faculty-center.



Fall 2023 grades for the Regular, IF0-IF3, and NAP sessions will be due Tuesday, 19 December 2023, at 4:00 p.m. ET.*

The grade submission deadline for all other sessions is as follows: PA3 – Wed., 06 December 2023, at 4:00 p.m. ET; PA1-PA2 – Thurs., 14 December 2023, at 4:00 p.m. ET; LAW, MD1-MD4 – Wed., 03 January 2024, at 4:00 p.m. ET



*While the University will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, 12/18-19/2023, Registrar staff will be monitoring email (8am-5pm ET), in the event any help is needed with grade submission.  Please submit your Student Central-related grade submission issues to: registrar at fsu.edu<mailto:registrar at fsu.edu>. For any Canvas-related grade submission issues encountered during this time (8am-5pm ET), please call 850-644-8004 or submit a ticket at https://support.canvas.fsu.edu/new.



Ensure that your students’ grades are being calculated correctly in Canvas<https://support.canvas.fsu.edu/kb/article/1060-how-to-ensure-the-accuracy-of-final-grades-within-canvas> if you wish to use the Canvas grade upload tool<https://support.canvas.fsu.edu/kb/article/1065-fsu-canvas-grade-upload-tool/> to send final grades from your Canvas course over to the grade roster in myFSU. Please contact FSU ODL Technical Support for assistance<https://support.canvas.fsu.edu/kb/article/801-about-fsu-odl-technical-support> if you are unsure of your Canvas gradebook’s calculations or experience difficulty with the Canvas grade upload tool. If any of your students will be receiving an incomplete, please review this finishing incompletes in Canvas<https://support.canvas.fsu.edu/kb/article/934-allow-students-to-finish-incomplete> resource and submit the accompanying manual enrollment form to ensure your students will retain access to submit coursework.



REMINDERS: For any student receiving an ‘F’, ‘I’, or ‘U’ grade, instructors will be prompted and required to enter a last date of attendance in the grade roster.



Only instructor roles with the grade access type of 'Approve' can set grade rosters to the Approved status. If you believe you should have 'Approve' access but do not see that as an option in the Approval Status drop-down box on your grade roster, please check with your academic unit's scheduler who can change it as required.
