Please contact Josh Gross who serves as moderator and list administrator if you have technical problems and/or questions regarding your subscription.
Anne and Josh had been talking over the years about the work of developing group interventions in the college counseling center and received feedback from others as to the importance of having a central discussion list dedicated to this work. Groupsinscc@lists.fsu.edu is borne of this dialog and it was our goal to host an ongoing and useful discussion of all topics relating to the development, initiation, facilitation, education, training, co-facilitation, theory, research, and practice of group work in the college counseling center setting.
Subscription to Groupsinscc@lists.fsu.edu is available by writing to Josh at the email above or by logging on to the list server’s dedicated webpage at https://lists.fsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/groupsinscc where you can self-subscribe. We are requesting that self-subscription be limited to professionals and graduate students working in the college counseling center environment. This website allows access to the list’s archives, subscription and un-subscription, as well as other list options.
Our purpose in developing this list was to provide a congenial and supportive dialog about group work. In service of this we would like to encourage participants be both frank and considerate in their dealings with others as well as being supportive of a wide range of professional experiences and perspectives in the course of carrying out this work. We would like to encourage you to refer to the Netiquette Home Page for any questions or concerns about list server etiquette or communication concerns which can be found at http://www.albion.com/netiquette/.
Thank you for your interest in the Groupsinscc@list.fsu.edu. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Please feel free to pass this introductory message on to other professionals and graduate students who might be interested in this work.
Best,
Anne McEneaney and Josh Gross
