About Amart-l | |
Amart-l is a moderated electronic discussion group established in October 1994 at the City University of New York (CUNY) to provide a forum for scholars and professionals who study American art, artifacts and architecture from the colonial period to the present. The list moved to Florida State University in 2007. Amart-l's international membership embraces a wide variety of disciplines, including Art History, American Studies, Museum Studies, History, Cinema, Popular Culture, and Architecture, and members include college and university teachers, museum professionals, librarians, archivists, and independent scholars.
