This is a great topic. Our fees are $100 per clinic course. The fees cover clinic materials, diagnostic tests, consumables, printer ink for reports, and paper. We are struggling to just cover those items. The process to increase course fees in Louisiana is arduous. It just won't happen, we looked into it last year. But I appreciate seeing what others cover with fees. It would be nice to cover CPR and BLS as a cohort rather than sending them out to find their own.

We took inventory of fees we cover for students (i.e., EHR, CPR, Simucase, and a few other items that we cover) and are just now in the process of updating our lab fees from 50.00 to 90.00 per practicum course. We just went through the proposal process in fall 2021 so now we’re moving to the next steps in the process for increasing lab fees. We’re hoping to implement by fall 2023.

We are looking for a system to better keep track of our diagnostic materials. I recall that at the conference, one university may be using a bar code system that is tied to their fee bill.
Please provide feedback on how your clinic tracks your materials and holds the students accountable.
