At LSU, each site has their own requirements regarding how many days/hours per week a student must attend.
Once the student is assigned to a particular site, they must abide by their guidelines.
Unless an absence is approved, students are not allowed to miss clinic.
Our policy (on and offsite) is one unexcused absence results in a letter grade deduction, same for the second, and for a third unexcused absence the student is removed from the clinic, does not receive the hours obtained or the competency.

We are interested in knowing what guidelines and stipulations you have regarding attendance at external practicum sites. Outside of this current COVID season, are students required to attend for a certain percentage of time, number of hours/days, etc to receive a grade?
