Dear members of the International Society of Bone Morphometry (ISBM) and colleagues,


This is the last call to submit your responses to the ISBM leadership opportunities and working groups survey, due Monday 2/28.  If you are interested in becoming more involved with the society, we look forward to hearing from you! More details are provided below. As a reminder, ISBM 2022 abstract submissions are also open until 3/25. To the many of you that have already replied to the survey and/or submitted abstracts, thank you and please disregard this reminder.

  1.  Leadership Opportunities and Working Groups (LAST CALL - DUE 2/28). In 2022 we will be expanding the society to include additional leadership positions and society-sponsored working groups. We are seeking leaders and topic experts that are interested in advancing key areas within the field and promoting the overall goals of the ISBM. Prior announcements:

  1.  XVth Congress of the International Society of Bone Morphometry (ISBM). The 2022 ISBM meeting will take place in person in Odense, Denmark on July 10-13, 2022. We are thankful to the meeting organizers Thomas Levin Andersen and Christina Møller Andreasen at the University of Southern Denmark for the work they have done so far in preparation for this exciting event. Prominent investigators will present recent advances in the areas of intracellular communication within the bone microenvironment, bone regeneration and response to loading, bone remodeling – clinical and pre-clinical perspectives, osteocyte pathology and function, spatial transcriptomics and genomics in bone, intravital imaging of bone, and the relationship between gut and bone function. This will be followed by a half-day training workshop with topics including basic and advanced histomorphometry, CT-based morphometry, spatial transcriptomics, and advanced imaging techniques.
