Dear members of the International Society of Bone Morphometry (ISBM) and colleagues,



We are pleased to announce the website and preliminary program of the XVth Congress of the International Society of Bone Morphometry along with a few updates.



1. XVth Congress of the International Society of Bone Morphometry (ISBM)

The 2022 ISBM meeting will take place in person in Odense, Denmark on July 10-13, 2022. We are thankful to the meeting organizers Thomas Levin Andersen and Christina Møller Andreasen at the University of Southern Denmark for the work they have done so far in preparation for this exciting event. Prominent investigators will present recent advances in the areas of intracellular communication within the bone microenvironment, bone regeneration and response to loading, bone remodeling – clinical and pre-clinical perspectives, osteocyte pathology and function, spatial transcriptomics and genomics in bone, intravital imaging of bone, and the relationship between gut and bone function. This will be followed by a half-day training workshop with topics including basic and advanced histomorphometry, CT-based morphometry, spatial transcriptomics, and advanced imaging techniques. 2. ISBM 2022 – Call for Moderators, Abstract Reviewers, Judges, Board Members, etc

Get involved!  We would love to have your help at the meeting and have opportunities for participation at all levels (trainee to senior investigator). All volunteers will be appointed as members of our ISBM 2022 Advisory Board and will be recognized in the program book and at the meeting. Several additional board positions will also become available in 2022.
