This message is intended for all University departmental areas that have attractive item asset records in our OMNI PeopleSoft system. If your department currently tracks attractive/sensitive property
(non-capital items) via our asset management module, the Asset Management Office requests that your area conduct a review of your department’s existing attractive items list. This review is being conducted in an effort to purge our system of items that are no longer in the possession of your department and for items that no longer require tracking.

All attractive items for an area can be obtained by running the query titled “FSU_DPT_AM_CURR_NONCAP”. Please take a moment to run this query and review your department’s attractive item listings. If you no longer need an item recorded in our system or no longer use this method to track attractive items, we ask that you email PAS-PropertyForms at fsu.edu<mailto:PAS-PropertyForms at fsu.edu> and list what items can be disposed and removed from your list.

Furthermore, if you need to add an item to your list, please complete the Attractive Item Additions Form<https://controller.vpfa.fsu.edu/sites/g/files/upcbnu1236/files/documents/Forms/Asset%20Management/Attractive%20Items%20Additions.pdf> and email it to PAS-PropertyForms at fsu.edu<mailto:PAS-PropertyForms at fsu.edu> for processing. Please remember that if your department is tracking attractive items our office has provided a best practice guide and checklist to assist with this process (Best Practices Guide<https://controller.vpfa.fsu.edu/sites/g/files/upcbnu1236/files/documents/Asset%20Management/Attractive%20Item%20Best%20Practices%20Guide.pdf> & Attractive Items Control Review<https://controller.vpfa.fsu.edu/sites/g/files/upcbnu1236/files/documents/Asset%20Management/Attractive%20Items%20Control%20Review.pdf>).

If you have any questions or concerns please do not respond to the listserv email address. All inquires should be directed to PAS-PropertyForms at fsu.edu<mailto:PAS-PropertyForms at fsu.edu>.

We appreciate your time and effort to assure accurate records.
