The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is the state's lead agency for environmental management and stewardship - protecting our air, water and land. The vision of DEP is to create strong community partnerships, safeguard Florida's natural resources and enhance its ecosystem. The Department of Environmental Protection, Office of General Counsel, in Tallahassee is seeking to fill an Attorney position (Select Exempt Service) in the Waste Unit of OGC.  Experience with environmental or real estate law is preferred.  This position is mainly transactional and will also focus on advising DEP's Division of Waste Management (DWM) and six district offices on one or a combination of program areas including, but not limited to, solid waste, RCRA, CERCLA, dry cleaning, petroleum restoration, storage tanks, emergency response, site investigation, waste cleanup, federal facilities, or brownfields.
