[Law-envtlcert] Next week: Network with 15 Envtl. & Land Use Employers

Dear FSU Law Students,

Please join us for an extraordinary Externships Event that we are hosting next Friday, 9/17th from 12:15-1:30 (via Zoom).  This is for students interested in learning about externship and volunteer opportunities not just in environmental, energy, and land use law, but also in fields relating to agricultural, water, ocean, wildlife, and animal law, and related fields. Participating students will get to meet with fifteen different legal employers from an amazing array of organizations, ranging from the Department of Justice to Earthjustice, from U.S. EPA to Florida DEP, and from the Humane Society to the Hemp Industry!  After the representatives introduce their programs, students and faculty will join them in small group breakout rooms for informal discussion.  This is your chance both to learn about opportunities with these organizations and to network personally with representatives from organizations including:



*        City of Tallahassee Attorney's Office

*        Earthjustice

*        Florida Department of Environmental Protection

*        Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission

*        NextEra Energy

*        The Humane Society

*        U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

*        U.S. D.O.J. Environment & Natural Resources Division

We will place students, faculty, and agency attorneys in smaller breakout rooms during the last half hour of the event for informal discussion and networking. There are limited seats available in each room, but we'll do our best to place you in the breakout room(s) of your choice.
