And finally, please see the following announcements for three writing competitions/opportunities.  The deadlines are February 2 and March 15, 2020, with a third journal accepting submissions on a rolling basis.


The Columbia Journal of Environmental Law is seeking submissions for its Climate Change Symposium Issue to be published in Spring 2019. Authors whose articles are selected for publication will have the opportunity to present them at CJEL's annual Climate Change Symposium at Columbia Law School in March. Articles on any legal topic related to climate change will be considered. Please submit articles to jrnenv at law.columbia.edu<mailto:jrnenv at law.columbia.edu>. Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis.

The winning essay will receive a $1,000 cash prize and an offer of publication with the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law. All students at accredited United States law schools are invited to submit original articles that address a relevant topic in environmental law. The winning entry will be announced in Spring 2020.
