Dear Environmental Certificate students:

The EPA General Counsel, one of our alum, telephoned me to let me know that he would be interested in receiving applications for summer internships at EPA, in the Office of the General Counsel. He has let me know that interested students should apply following the directions on the website: https://www.epa.gov/careers/summer-honors-program-law-clerks-epas-office-general-counsel-ogc. The website suggests that the process would have started last summer and would have wrapped up by now, but he is suggesting that he would be open to hiring another. When we talked, he was open to hiring a 1L, but the website only suggests that 2Ls can apply. I would advise 1Ls to apply only if you have a very strong and demonstrated interest in EPA.

If you would please let Alisa Duke at Career Services know if you apply, we would appreciate it.

Good luck!
